A small selection of only three (but really good ones) rooftop projects that combine the best of luxury and sophistication into a place to enjoy some quality time, with good music, good food and of course, great company.

Get inspired with our selection!

1. Terrat

This marvelous rooftop project was designed by Patricia Urquiola, and it is integrated into a luxurious 5-star hotel in Barcelona.

If you looking for a completely clear view over the city of Barcelona and its surroundings, from every corner of the rooftop you have to go to this rooftop. Do you know that makes this experience even better? Good food, good wine, and good friends. You can enjoy an exclusive menu on this terrace, specially created for Terrat by the chef Gastón Acurio.

During summer times, especially, you might feel a little hot in the Terrat but, don’t worry. It has a fantastic swimming pool where the swim is allowed.

2. Divinity Terrace

When thinking of something sophisticated but, at the same time, cozy this rooftop is a nice inspiration: the Divinity Terrace in Rome, designed by Studio Marco Piva.

On this rooftop, you can taste the most traditional Italian dishes while having clear views over the Pantheon and other elements of Ancient Rome.

The whole place is so cozy, practical, and functional that you can do everything here: eat, relax, and even work. Yes, because who wouldn’t like to work with such amazing views? Once you finish work, for example, you can go to the other side of the rooftop and take a refreshing cocktail, while resting your back in comfortable outdoor chairs.

3. Roof Garden

Kika is always in love with nature and all its elements, so of course that her rooftop has to have this. This Roof Garden Bar, in Lisbon, is a huge reference for those who love nature and all its elements.

The design project is the responsibility of a partnership between the architects Cristina Santos e Silva and Ana Menezes Cardoso. The Roof Garden is located on the top floor of Altis Grand Hotel.

Here you can drink a refreshing drink and catching up with your friends while contemplating mesmerizing and calming views over Portugal’s capital. The decor includes trendy furniture but also luxury vertical gardens that give the space a totally different feeling.

All different and unique, but with the same purpose: enjoy life! Which one was your favorite?
