Inside Kendall Jenner’s Mountain House
Most of us will never walk through these doors, but today we have the chance to take a peek inside. Everyone knows the Kardashian family and their luxurious lifestyle. But in today’s Home Signature, we’re stepping inside Kendall Jenner‘s Mountain House, a home that feels completely different from what you might expect. Designed together with interior designer Heidi Caillier, this mountain retreat was created to be lived in. Kendall wanted a house that would always be full of friends and family, with spaces made for gathering, relaxing, and making memories. Inspired by a Grandma Chic aesthetic, the project mixes bold colours, vintage pieces, rich fabrics, and unexpected materials while still feeling personal and unmistakably Kendall. Here’s the inside of Kendall Jenner’s Mountain House.
Set in the middle of the mountains, this home doesn’t follow any design rules. Instead, it finds the perfect balance between calm, cozy, and a touch of eccentricity.
Living Room
The living room immediately draws your attention to the oversized sofa upholstered in Lee Jofa’s bold Hollyhock Handblock print. It’s impossible to miss and sets the tone for the entire house.
At the centre of the room, the coffee table is covered with books carefully collected from antique stores, each one bringing its own story and character to the space.
In the background, a limited-edition 2001 Gibson-Baldwin piano signed by Les Paul becomes another statement piece. Paired with a bench upholstered in a Heather Taylor Home fabric and placed beside a Yamaha acoustic guitar, the corner feels both decorative and personal, reflecting Kendall’s love for music.
Kitchen
The kitchen opens directly into the living room, making both spaces feel connected. Design Frères stools line the island, while Calacatta Viola marble wraps around the countertops, backsplash, and Lacanche range.
Instead of filling the kitchen with colour, Kendall kept the cabinetry and surfaces mostly neutral. The personality comes through the flooring and small decorative details that add subtle pops of colour without overwhelming the space.
Dining Room
The dining room feels almost like a sunroom thanks to its large windows that flood the space with natural light. A long dining table surrounded by built-in bench seating creates the perfect setting for long dinners with friends and family.
Vintage artworks hang above a custom Jefferson West bookshelf lined with wallpaper from Howe at 36 Bourne Street, adding another layer of texture to the room.
The dining table from Petersen Antiques fits perfectly into a nook created by a custom banquette upholstered in Howe at 36 Bourne Street fabric with Pierre Frey trim. Vintage Vico Magistretti chairs from Harbinger, cushioned in a Filling Spaces block print, surround the table, while Roman shades in a Pindler textile and an Arredoluce pendant from 1stDibs complete the space.
Bathroom
Even the powder room embraces colour. The yellow sink by The Water Monopoly immediately catches the eye, paired with Drummonds fittings and a Waterworks mirror for a playful yet elegant combination.

Kendall’s Bedroom
When Kendall first saw the wallpaper chosen for her bedroom, she admitted it scared her. In the end, it became one of the room’s strongest features and proved to be the perfect choice.
The walls are covered in wallpaper from Howe at 36 Bourne Street, while a chair from Nickey Kehoe upholstered in Robert Kime fabric creates a cozy reading corner. A vintage quilt, an antique bench found on Chairish, a rug from Eliko Rugs by David Ariel, and a painting by Axel Nilsson finish the room.
Kendall wanted her bedroom to feel peaceful and comforting, almost like a quiet book nook where she could spend time reading and unwinding.
Kendall´s Bathroom
The primary bathroom continues the home’s mix of bold choices and timeless materials. The shower door, designed by Bananas + Hammocks, contrasts beautifully with the Brinjal walls by Farrow & Ball.
Above the custom vanity, Italian mid-century mirrors are paired with sconces by Urban Electric Co. finished with Rose Tarlow Melrose House fabric shades.
Inside the shower, a checkerboard pattern made with tiles from Zia Tile and Clé creates one of the room’s standout details, finished with Barber Wilsons & Co. fittings.
Adult Bunked Bed
One of the most fun spaces in the house is what Kendall calls the “adult bunk room.” Designed to accommodate everyone, from children to adults, the room features four built-in bunk beds that make hosting guests easy.
Each bunk is upholstered in a different fabric, giving every bed its own personality and making each sleeping nook feel like its own little world.
The room is painted in Farrow & Ball’s Salon Drab and includes a vintage dresser from 1stDibs, a custom ladder, custom quilts by Nissa Sorenson, and a vintage striped kilim rug.
Bathroom
Inspired by the 1970s, the bunk room bathroom mixes warm wood tones with rich green tiles.
Custom green tiles by Zia Tile define the space, while sinks from The Water Monopoly, Drummonds fittings, a vintage table from 1stDibs, and Lumfardo sconces complete the room.

Guest Room
The guest bedroom proves that taking risks can pay off. Wrapped in Lisa Fine Textiles wallpaper, the room combines an iron-red bed with playful polka dots, creating an unexpected contrast that feels unique and full of character.
The room also features a bedside table from Shoppe Amber Interiors, a bed by Charles P. Rogers, and a rug by Tim Page Carpets.
Guest Room’s Bathroom
The guest bathroom has a whimsical colour palette where green walls meet blue tiles, creating a fresh and playful atmosphere that perfectly complements the rest of the guest suite.

Bambi Airstream
One of the most unexpected parts of the property is the 2020 Airstream Bambi, a birthday gift that Kendall transformed into a charming guest retreat.
Filled with warm colours and cozy details, the small space includes vintage Italian linens as bedside curtains, bedding by Bode, and a bolster pillow by Nissa Sorenson.
The bathroom is wrapped in Heather Taylor Home fabric and even includes a bathtub from Urban Ice Tribe with Waterworks fittings, making the compact space feel surprisingly luxurious.
Beyond the world of hospitality, the same philosophy that defines these hotels is increasingly shaping private residences. Inside Kendall Jenner’s Mountain House offers a clear reflection of this shift. Much like the hotels explored in this article, the boundaries between inside and outside dissolve, replaced by a continuous dialogue with nature.
