Four Seasons Mykonos Officially Opens Its Doors
Discover how thoughtful interior design and seamless outdoor living redefine the Greek island experience.
Luxury hospitality is evolving beyond exceptional service to embrace experiences shaped by architecture, interior design, and a strong connection to nature, and Four Seasons Hotel Mykonos is the proof. Today, luxury hospitality is defined by destinations where every space is designed to create a sense of place. The newly opened Four Seasons Hotel Mykonos perfectly captures this philosophy, combining timeless Cycladic architecture with contemporary interiors and immersive outdoor living experiences overlooking the Aegean Sea.

A New Chapter for Four Seasons in Greece

Following the success of Four Seasons Astir Palace Athens, the hospitality brand has officially welcomed guests to its second property in Greece. Perched above Kalo Livadi Bay, the resort unfolds across six hectares of dramatic coastline, offering 94 rooms, suites, and villas designed to immerse guests in the natural beauty of Mykonos. This village-like composition creates a sense of discovery while preserving the island’s architectural identity.
The Architecture Behind the Resort
One of the defining features of the new Four Seasons Mykonos is its architectural heritage.
The resort was designed by acclaimed Greek architect Nicos Valsamakis, whose work is celebrated for its understated elegance and deep respect for the Mediterranean landscape. Inspired by traditional Cycladic architecture, the design embraces white volumes, natural stone, open courtyards, and panoramic terraces that frame uninterrupted views of the Aegean Sea.
Interior Design Inspired by the Island
Complementing the architecture is an equally refined approach to interior design, led by Wimberly Interiors.

Guest rooms, suites, public spaces, and the spa reflect a palette inspired by Mykonos itself – locally influenced decorative details create interiors that feel calm, sophisticated, and deeply connected to their setting. Floor-to-ceiling glazing floods the interiors with natural light while strengthening the relationship between indoor and outdoor spaces. Many accommodations also feature expansive terraces and private plunge pools, allowing guests to take in the island’s landscape from the comfort of their own suites.

Outdoor Living at the Heart of the Experience
Every part of the resort has been designed to encourage life outdoors. Infinity pools overlook the sea, landscaped pathways connect intimate courtyards, and generous terraces provide spaces for dining, relaxation, and social gatherings beneath the Mediterranean sun. The property also features a private beach, multiple outdoor restaurants and lounges, and direct access to island experiences.
Dining Designed as an Experience
The hotel’s restaurants—including ALEF, KAFENEO, and CORBU—were designed by the internationally renowned Rockwell Group, bringing distinct identities to each venue while maintaining a cohesive architectural language throughout the property. Indoor and outdoor dining areas take full advantage of the panoramic setting.

A New Standard for Luxury Hospitality
The opening of Four Seasons Mykonos reflects a broader shift in how the hospitality industry approaches design. By combining the architectural vision of Nicos Valsamakis, the refined interiors by Wimberly Interiors, and a design philosophy deeply inspired by the Cycladic landscape, Four Seasons Mykonos establishes a new benchmark for luxury hospitality in the Mediterranean.
